THE HERD

Rooted in the heart of Norfolk, herd is a family-owned vineyard shaped by four generations of agricultural heritage at Braydeston, just east of Norwich. Blending sustainable viticulture with traditional cattle and arable farming. Each wine celebrates the land, the herd, and the community that connects them.

The vineyard is set amongst 200 acres of rolling hills, marshes and woodlands situated on the northern slopes of the River Yare valley approximately 18 miles east of the North Sea benefiting from an arid micro climate.

As a mixed farm, it also includes arable land which grows barley for malt, wheat for livestock, sugar beet, peas, potatoes and cattle. The cattle are all reared and grazed on historic meadows adjacent to the vineyard.
